Chris is a postdoctoral scientist in the Briscoe laboratory at the Francis Crick Institute. In 2015 he obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maine. He specializes in microfluidics and microfabration and worked in the MicroInstruments and Systems Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Rosemary Smith and Dr. Scott Collins. His work in the Briscoe laboratory focuses on developing microfluidic tools for studying pattern formation in the neural tube.
