Edgar Herrera Delgado is a PhD student jointly supervised by James Briscoe and Peter Sollich at King’s College, London. He obtained a B.Sc. in Genomic Sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mex. During his degree he spent a year in Patrick Müller’s group at the FML of the Max Planck Society, Germany.
Edgar’s research focuses on understanding and modelling the dynamics of gene regulation and cell fate specification in the neural tube. To do this he employs methods from statistical physics combined with experimental measurements.
